The S-thetic Circle Conference took place in Dusseldorf, Germany June 17-18. Organized by well known German Dermatological Surgeon Dr. Afschin Fatemi, this conference consisted of live surgeries, cadaver dissection, lectures, and active discussion with faculty. Attendees had interaction with leaders in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and industry during the conference. The cadaver dissection, led by Dr. Afschin Fatemi, was essential in helping the attendees understand anatomy and the fine points of surgery and other procedures. Dr. Martin Kassir attended all the sessions and presented his lecture on LASER COMPLICATIONS as Energy Based Devices were a big part of this conference. Dr. Kassir also presented a lecture titled MICRONEEDLING: 7 YEARS OF CLINICAL EXPEREINCE. As needling is a relatively new procedure, the students and faculty fully appreciated Dr. Kassir's lecture explaining the mechanism and showing clinical results of microneedling for pigment, fine lines, scars, and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Kassir reviewed protocols for various microneedling indications, including melasma.
