The 3rd DASIL (Dermatology And Surgery International League) Congress took place in Sun City, South Africa from September 7th to 10th, 2014. Dr. Martin Kassir was an invited speaker to this Congress on various subjects, including needling. Dr. Kassir gave several lectures including 2 on microneedling. Many experts on microneedling were present at this International Congress. As one of the world's experts on needling, Dr. Martin Kassir presented a lecture on Microneedling with Simultaneous Infusion. In this lecture Dr. Kassir described the mechanisms of microneedling for the skin and different products whose simultaneous infusion may benefit the skin. Dr. Kassir described the DERMAFRAC procedure (DERMAl FRACtional infusion therapy) with many clinical results for melasma, pigment and scars. Dr. Kassir also lectured on dark circles under the eyes, reviewing the causes and all the possible therapies for under eye dark circles. Dr. Kassir then specifically lectured on needling and DERMAFRAC as treatment for dark circles under the eye.
