AESTHETICS 2016 in New Delhi, India took place August 19-21 and was a resounding success. For the first time at AESTHETICS DELHI, Dr. Martin Kassir organized a Needling Workshop. This Needling Workshop consisted of lectures by "NEEDLING GUIDE" author and Worldwide Laser Institute Faculty Dr. Lance Setterfield, Dr. Martin Kassir, and 2 former Fellows of Dr. Kassir: Dr. Kanika Sahni and Dr. Anuj Pall.The theory, mechanism, clinical protocols, and various microneedling techniques were covered by the Faculty. Dr. Kanika Sahni presented a published paper on infraorbital darkening and Dr. Anuj Pall presented on Needling and Radiofrequency. Dr. Lance Setterfield covered the history of needling, mechanisms of action, various needling devices, clinical protocols, and topicals to be used with needling. Dr. Martin Kassir presented clinical results from pigment to wrinkles to melasma to scars from his seven years of experience with microneedling, in addition to a lecture on needling with simultaneous infusion. During the LIVE HANDS ON Dr. Martin Kassir instructed the attendees on needling with simultaneous infusion and Dr. Setterfield supervised other needling devices. This workshop was very well attended and is sure to be repeated in 2017! Finally. Dr. Setterfield and Dr. Kassir also lectured on Microneedling during the main session of the Congress.
