Radiofrequency (RF) is another method in use for delivery of heat to various layers of the skin. This procedure may have many clinical applications depending on the device, the anatomic region, the depth, and the amount of heat used. RF may be mono polar or bipolar. As with all other procedures, proper protocol must be followed and appropriate patients should be selected to avoid and minimize complications. (NOT OFFERED TO TEXAS RESIDENTS)
