Non-Ablative Resurfacing was bursting on the esthetic scene in the early 2000s. Dr. Martin Kassir presented a review of indications and wavelengths for this new procedure in Bangkok. Non-ablative resurfacing represents and option for some benefit without the downtime and side effect profile of traditional laser resurfacing. Various wavelengths exist that use water as their absorption target and these wavelengths are typically in the infrared range.
